About Me
Hello there! 👋I’m a software engineer and entrepreneur born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of code, I love biking, climbing, gardening, painting—and frustrating my family by turning every hike into a photo shoot.Looking for an experienced iOS engineer with a strong sense of craft and attention to detail? Working on something that lives at the intersection of art, creativity, and technology? That’s where I thrive—and I’d love to help.My background spans game development, entrepreneurship, and iOS engineering at both nimble startups and large tech companies. If you’re building something interesting, let’s talk!Did I mention I love taking photos? Here are a few of my faves:
Projects
Meta
While I can't share technical details of my work at Meta, I can share my badge post! At Meta there's a tradition of posting an image of your badge when you leave the company. Mine was instead a badge video showcasing some of the technology I worked on during my time there: camera effects, animation infrastructure, and avatars.
Oscilloscoop
Oscilloscoop is a audiovisual toy for iPhone and iPad that allows a user to "draw" music. Through gestures a user can control audio pitch, filters and quantization.
MotionPhone
MotionPhone is a novel, collaborative animation app. Users can create simple geometric animations through gestures. Multiple users can draw together on a shared canvas simultaneously.
Rework
REWORK_ (Philip Glass Remixed) is a collection of interactive visualizations of the REWORK_ album - remixes of composer Philip Glass' music.I coded the “Glass Machine” experience which lets people create their own music inspired by Glass’ early music.
Björk's Biophilia: Thunderbolt / Virus
Björk's Biophilia Project was the world's first music album adapted as a suite of interactive audiovisual iOS apps. The Thunderbolt app allowed users to draw musical arpeggios with lightning.
The Virus app is both a interactive visualization of Björk's song and a musical instrument that can be played by tapping on viruses and cells.
Thank You 😊
